Dr. Robert Joseph is a Senior Data Scientist for Stanley Black and Decker, a serial entrepreneur, an educator and father. He holds a B.S. and M.S. from MIT in Electrical Engineering and a M.S. and Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon University in Computer Science. He has over 30 years’ experience developing state-of-the-art technology working at companies including AT&T Bell Labs, US West and Sony as well as smaller companies like Freshwater Software, Leave A Little Room, and Kansei Interactive. While at Leave A Little room he was awarded a patent for developing an internet radio DJ system (US 7349663 B1). He is a University Professor, teaching undergraduate and graduate classes for more than 10 years. Finally, but most importantly he is the father of two outstanding boys 13 and 14 years old.
