Crushing the Coding Interview for the Anxious

The coding interview, especially whiteboard interviews, can be very stressful and developers sometimes don’t show all they know. Cognitive strategies for these demands on attention and short-term memory are needed as well as an understanding of the coding interview beyond algorithm memorization. Specific cognitive strategies will be provided for managing loads on short-term memory and habituating the candidate to stressful interview triggers. The presentation will conclude with a brief coding interview exercise.
