Funding Tech Inclusion

As technology transforms the way that families and business interact, exchange currency, and capture life’s experiences, there are many communities that remain underexposed to its’ economic and social benefits. Formidable diversity efforts, like the Tech Inclusion Summit series and the Tech Inclusion Pledge, create the intention to mobilize Inclusion efforts. The sustainment and growth of tech inclusion community-based programs will require strategic relationships between the tech community, grantmakers and public entities. This ½ day workshop will address some of the social and cultural implications related to planning tech inclusion efforts. This session discovers you 2-3 potential funding sources and models that can fund community based Inclusion programs/projects.
